International fair for technical textiles

From technical textiles, products such as e.g. protective suits or textiles made for the automotive industry. These provide many benefits such as protection and stabilization, but they can also be used to dense and reject. The industry has developed strongly since the 1990s. Production has increased by 40% during this period. The product industry accounts for about 52% of the total turnover of the textile industry in Germany. To get an overview of the many properties and the processing of the textiles, this fair is a good starting point.

The fair CINTE Techtextil in Shanghai is the subsidiary of Techtextil in Germany. In 2016, the show was record-breaking and 480 companies from 26 countries exhibited their products. Everything in this fair is about technical textiles and nonwovens. It covers 12 different application areas, which means that the whole business is represented here.

The Orthopac CRVMC is especially designed for high mechanical load. Thanks to reinforced components, it is ideal for processing very heavyweight and wide materials.

The arc of contact of the straightening rollers thereby depends on the desired straightening effect. With products without skews and bows, the straightening rollers are not enveloped unnecessarily.

When the straightening rollers engage with the product, the uniform contact of the straightening rollers with the product is ensured over the entire width. This becomes possible through our innovative and unique roller positioning drive.

Optolectronic sensor / camera sensor

The Famacont PMC determines the thread density by means of a non-contacting, optoelectronic or imaging process. With the optoelectronic process individual threads or courses pass the sensor and are projected onto the photocell using a precision optical lens. The resulting frequency is proportional to the thread count.

A high-resolution camera is used with the imaging process. The image is analysed with using suitable software (FFT analysis). Both, the thread count in weft and warp direction can be determined here with maximum precision.
