ICE Europa 2025

The future of the coating and converting industry is efficient, resource-saving, and highly precise. At ICE Europe 2025 in Munich (March 11–13, Booth A5/1510), Mahlo GmbH + Co. KG will showcase how intelligent measurement and control technology helps maximize quality while minimizing material and energy consumption.

Increase Efficiency, Save Resources

Sustainability Meets Precision

“In times of rising raw material prices, high energy costs, and increasing environmental regulations, it is essential for manufacturers to reduce waste and optimize processes,” explains Matthias Wulbeck, Product Manager QCS at Mahlo. “Our technologies provide precise and efficient solutions for these challenges.”

The Qualiscan QMS-12, Mahlo’s proven online measurement and control system, continuously monitors key parameters such as thickness, basis weight, density, coating thickness, and moisture content. This not only ensures consistent quality but also helps prevent material waste and use resources more efficiently.

Live Demonstrations at the Booth

Visitors can experience Mahlo’s technology firsthand. One highlight is the Webpro XS measuring frame, a compact system that delivers reliable measurements even in confined spaces. It features the Optoscope WLI-R-UV/VIS white light interference sensor, capable of measuring ultra-thin layers as small as 200 nm—an essential technology for sustainable production processes.

Mahlo will also demonstrate the Infrascope NIR sensor, which analyzes material properties contactlessly using infrared absorption. This system accurately detects moisture and basis weight variations, enabling precise control of coating processes. As a result, manufacturers can significantly reduce material consumption and enhance the sustainability of their production.

Future-Proof Solutions for a Sustainable Industry

“Accurate measurement and control technology is more crucial than ever,” Wulbeck emphasizes. “Our systems help make production processes more efficient, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly.”

Mahlo looks forward to discussing innovative solutions with visitors and addressing their specific requirements.
