Products for pulp, paper and board

Find suitable products for your paper applications

Nowadays, industrial paper is usually made of wood cellulose fibres. These fibres, mixed with water and additives, make the pulp. Machines press the pulp into a large web and remove the excess water by mechanical pressure. The paper is then dried and ready for further processing like coating.

The further processing steps are complex and challenging. We can support you with our experience and proficiency in highly specialised quality control measurement systems and gauging applications.

Coating paper to give it a smooth surface is one of the most demanding tasks in the paper industry. During the converting of paper, tissue, hygiene paper, board and cardboard, narrow tolerances in quality and condition must be maintained. For fast and accurate control, quality control measurements are required at both the wet and dry ends.

For this purpose, Mahlo provides a flexible but highly configurable measuring system for quality control. This can be used for measuring and logging as well as for controlling process parameters in the paper production or coating process.
