Even extremely thin silicon coatings of 0.3 to 0.5 g/m² can be accurately detected. Another key innovation is the Optoscope WLI sensor, which uses white light interference technology to provide precise measurements of ultra-thin coatings down to 0.4 µm, surpassing conventional systems in terms of accuracy and reliability. These solutions help manufacturers increase process stability, minimize material waste, and improve product quality, making them essential for the next generation of sustainable plastic production.
