Mahlo at Chinaplas 2026

Preview Chinaplas 2026

Focusing on Transformation, Collaboration and Sustainability

From April 15 to 18, 2026, Mahlo GmbH + Co. KG will once again exhibit at Chinaplas – Asia’s leading trade fair for the plastics and rubber industry. Under this year’s theme Transformation · Collaboration · Sustainability, Mahlo will present innovative solutions for future-oriented plastics processing. Visitors can meet the team at booth 10F27, where state-of-the-art technologies for process optimization and quality assurance will take center stage.

China’s plastics industry is undergoing significant change: increasing demands for resource efficiency, stricter environmental regulations and growing competitive pressure are driving the development of new production strategies. Intelligent systems are required to ensure consistently high product quality while reducing energy and material consumption.

“The transformation of the industry opens up enormous opportunities – especially through the targeted use of smart measurement technology,” says Frank Fei, Chief Representative of Mahlo China. “Our solutions help manufacturers make their processes more efficient and more sustainable.”

Enhancing efficiency through precise process data

A key highlight at the booth is the proven Qualiscan QMS quality measurement system. It enables continuous monitoring of critical production parameters such as basis weight, moisture profile and coating thickness across the entire web width. This precise data provides the foundation for optimized process control, reduced variability and lower resource consumption – a decisive advantage in an increasingly sustainability-driven market.

Advanced sensor technology for demanding applications

Another focus is on the advancement of non-nuclear measurement technologies. With the Infrascope NIR sensor, Mahlo presents a solution that allows highly accurate inline measurements, even for complex multilayer materials. Even minimal coating weights can be reliably detected.

The portfolio is complemented by the Optoscope WLI sensor, which uses white light interference technology to measure ultra-thin coatings in the micrometer range with exceptional precision. These technologies help stabilize production processes, reduce waste and improve overall product quality.

Developing solutions together

In line with the Chinaplas motto, Mahlo places strong emphasis on dialogue with customers and partners. Personal exchange at the booth provides the opportunity to discuss specific requirements and jointly develop new approaches for sustainable production.

“Collaboration is a key factor for the future of our industry,” Fei adds. “We look forward to working closely with our customers to develop innovative solutions and actively shape this transformation.”
